Dear Wharton Alumni,
I am pleased to invite you to join me at the 43rd Wharton Global Forum, which will take place on May 24-25, 2013 at the Palace Hotel in Tokyo, Japan.
The Wharton School has experienced significant growth since the Forum last visited Tokyo in 2002 and I will be delighted to share with you our latest news. Keisuke Muratsu, WG’75 has agreed to serve as Chairman of this year’s Forum. With the theme of “Vitalization,” Keisuke will establish a program of interest to Wharton students worldwide. More information concerning the speakers and topics will be available on this website, which I hope you will peruse.
Wharton is also honored to have Yotaro Kobayashi, WG’58 serve as Honorary Chairman. Kobayashi-san has supported Japan, Fuji Xerox and Wharton in many capacities since his graduation over fifty years ago. We value the wisdom and continuity he brings to our deliberations.
An esteemed delegation of Wharton professors will join the Forum to moderate panel discussions and instruct master classes. As always, they look forward to interacting with their former students.
I welcome you to join me in Tokyo and learn how Japan’s diligent work is impacting the global stage.
Sincerely,
Thomas S. Robertson
