Takeshi Ogita is Executive Director and Senior Executive Officer, Head of General Affairs & Human Resources Division, and Head of Vaccine Business Intelligence Division at Daiichi Sankyo in Japan.

Dr. Ogita began his career in 1980 when he joined Fermentation Res. Labs at Daiichi Sankyo. In 2007, he became the Head of Project Management in the R&D Division, as well as Head of the Pharmaceutical Technology Division. By 2009, Dr. Ogita was appointed the Senior Executive Officer of the R&D Division, Human Resources, and Information Technology. In 2010, he was again promoted to Global Corporate Strategy Officer in charge of Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Development, and Global Marketing.
