Mr. Hiroki Kuriyama is the Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Office of the CEO for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT).

Hiroki Kuriyama began his carrer at NTT in the Ozone Telegraph and Telephone Office in 1985, training field-office operations. From 1986-1990, he served in the Corporate Strategy Planning Headquarters where he was in charge of pricing strategy for competition and introduced special calling rates of calling services to and from remote islands, such as Okinawa. In 1990, Mr Kuriyama joined the Personnel Department at NTT, and became Assistant Manager of the Marketing Strategy Department in 1992. From 1994-2003, Mr Kuriyama served as Senior Manager of various departments including Human Resources and Business Planning. In 2003, he assumed the role of Vice President of the Corporate Strategy Department, responsible for transformation of business portfolio through broadband penetration and global expansion of system integration, a role he held until 2012, when he assumed his current position.

Mr. Kuriyama earned a BA from the Law Department of the University of Tokyo in 1985, and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
